Due to an apparent lack of motivation for competitive gaming, Richard "ritch" Gibbs, former Dignitas and cc// player, has decided to step down from the all UK lineup at Power Gaming CS:S in search of other ventures. He will, however, remain their 6th man on the roster.
A surprising move, perhaps, considering the team have yet to play in an official match but his Norwegian replacement, Lasse "stingeR" Midtstue seems more than capable of filling the UK player's shoes.
James "wilzOOO" Wilson told Cadred more about the move:
"As a team we were all greatly disappointed that ritch decided for now, at least, that he doesn't feel like playing Source competitively. There is no bad feeling between us as a team towards him and we would like to wish him the best of luck in whatever he does next. It gives me great pleasure to announce that we have found a more than capable replacement in the form of stingeR, a player who has played source and 1.6 at the highest level, who is sure to turn some heads."
Team Manager Ben Woodward also told Cadred:
"It’s disappointing to lose someone so soon, especially before you’ve even played an official. It’s his choice at the end of the day and if he doesn’t enjoy CS:S as much anymore that’s fair enough, he’ll be our 6th man which is useful.
Stinger seems to be a phenomenal individual with a lot of raw talent; I cannot wait for first official matches at i38. It’s going to be great."

AND IN VERYGAMES CSS
Several weeks have passed since the news broke that Verygames the number 1 European CSS team were to be dropped by their organisation. Since then and now the organisation of Verygames have been looking for a set of suitable replacements to fill the void left by the old team. It seems that they have now come to a conclusion and decided to present there new team.
The team previously playing under the wings of the redLine organisation have decided to switch allegiances and have decided to move over to the Verygames organisation and become there new team.
The move also see's a well known and respected player from the French scene being thrust back into the lineup as the teams 5th member. Loic 'RegnaM' Perron is that man, he will be replacing the previous 5th starter of 'spl4sh'.
Here's what the new Verygames CSS team looks like:

spl4sh (back up player)Here's what Verygames had to say on the teams announcement, when they spoke to Cadred.org
These past weeks have provided us with a perfect opportunity for reflection on our current structure. What should we do after our previous team’s departure? Acquire a new line-up? Look to a new game? End the adventure that is Team VeryGames?
We have received numerous applications from teams and structures interested in working with Team VeryGames. One in particular caught our attention: that of Team redLine. Team redLine was the main rival of the old Team VeryGames during the 2008-2009
season, and is also the best European team right now! In agreement with redLine Hosting, we met the manager, Jérôme ’Niak’ Sudries, and then the players.
We finally agreed to begin a new adventure with this new line-up for a year (or possibly more!), this time with the benefit of the experience gained last season. This new beginning also sees the return to the forefront of a symbolic figure of the Counter-Strike: Source scene, Loic ‘RegnaM’ Peron. Loïc was the only player to be faithful to us during the troubled period in recent weeks. His loyalty was rewarded today.
This season will be an excellent one. It begins in November with MaxLan before the team’s departure for Sweden, to play against the best European teams at the DreamHack Winter event. In our desire to continue to develop the world of electronic sports, our players will obviously be under contract and will once again have the status of professional players. Finally, a big thank you to Gregory ‘Dragon’ Vidal, manager of the old Team VeryGames, without whom the 2008-2009 season would probably have been more difficult. A new website will come soon. So stay tuned to:
